Per Aravam:
Jeeva
Last pasuram explained how the cosmic universe created. One will ask, what is the raw material that Bhramam uses during the Srishti period? The answer is it uses itself as a raw material (very analogous to child birth). And, the universe will be filled with infinite Jeevas. An instance of Paramathma will always be dwelling inside the Jeeva (attributed to the term Antharyami). Jeevas are of three kinds
- Baddhas (stuck in bondage of Karma, who stays in Leela Vibhoothi)
- Mukthas (free from bondage who stay in Nithya Vibhoothi).
- and Nithyas (eternally free, like nithya suris).
From microscopic germs to the Paramapitha Bhrama are all Jeevas, who are stuck in Baddha form and are waiting in line to attain the Mukta form. Karma is a balance sheet of good deeds over bad deeds and a Jeeva passes through numerous births and deaths to straighten the balance sheet of Karma to attain Muktha state(or attain moksham).
What will happen to your balance sheet in Kali yuga, where you are surrounded and influenced by bad deeds? Do you have a chance to make up for it? According to Lord Krishna, among the 4 yugas, Kali yuga is the most superior, because if takes 1000 years to earn good deeds in satya yuga, it takes 100 years to earn same deed in thretha, it takes 10 years to earn the same deed in dwapara yuga and it only takes 1 day to earn in Kali yuga. More about this is explained in the later pasurams to come.
Bagavatha Sheshatwam
From the above explanation, it is understood that the he is dwelling inside every jeevathama as Antharyami and his ananya sheshastwam is understood ( infinite ownership) ( veḷḷai viḷi śangin aravam) by the letter OuM and as explained in Pasuram 2, he will expand his boundaries to reach to his bagavathas.
If you connect the both dots, you can understand that paramathma dwelling inside the jeevathma of his bagavatha is like a temple where jeevathma acts like a Garba graha of paramathma. That is why it very important to keep our body worthy for Paramathma to reside.
From Pasuram 5 we saw there are 5 ways to connect to him out of which 4th way is via antharyami of bhaagavatha which Andal mentions here as Per Aravam. Hence the bhaagavatha sheshatwam (kainkaryam to his devotee) is very important to earn good deeds. Even when you visit a temple, you should not directly approach the Perumal, as he is surrounded by his Nithyas (explained above) and without following the right procedure (analogous to getting different level of security clearance before you get a chance to meet the President), your balance sheet is still not attributed with good karma.
With Bhaagavatha satsangam, following is the list of sannadhis that one should visit before approaching perumal.
Ashrayannam.
1) Anjaneyar
2) Alzwar Acharyar
3) Ananthan
4) Garudan
5) Vishvakshenan
6) Maha lakshmi
7) Andal( BhooDevi)
8)Neeladevi (if present) (for people in Tirucherai you have Sridevi, Mahalakshmi, Saranayaki, Bhoodevi, and Neeladevi)
9) Perumal

Piḷḷāy ezhundirāy
The first five pasurams of Thiruppavai are called Avatharikai which are used to describes the purpose, the main topic, the procedure for the vritham and who can participate in it.
In the next 10 pasurams, she wakes up 1o different girls, with different qualities, who are in deep sleep, to get Krishna anubavam. According our sampradaya, as explained above by the term bhaagavatha sheshatwam, any vritham/pooja/even chanting has to be performed in the satsangam ( in company) with fellow bhaagavathas so that you share your experience with each other. For example, when you travel in an unknown terrain, if you travel alone, the whole experience will be haunting, where as, when you travel in group of like minded people the it becomes enjoyable.
All these ten girls have varying levels of krisna anubhavam. When bhaagavathas sleep they are in bhramanubvam (Connected with paramathma). You can only wake them up by telling bhagavat vishayam(information about Paramathma).
Pillay is a girl ( in light sleep or bramh-anubavam) who is ignorant of bhaagavatha sheshatwam. Andal starts her conversation by telling the sign of dwan, "Don’t you hear the chirping birds?"(puḷḷum cilampina kān). Pillay does not respond, hence, she decides to mention the reference of sound of shankam blown in perumal temple near by. She refers the sound as Aravam (AuM) also she uses the the term pēr-aravam to indicate that she has to attain bhaagavataha sheshatwam. She starts to refer to episodes of lord Krishna's childhood when Kamsa sent many asuras to kill (pēymulai nañju uṇḍu | kaḷḷa cakaṭam kalakku kazhiya kāl ōcci |). Pillay responds by saying all these episodes are already over. Then Andal says to attain the Srimannarayana sleeping in Thiruparkadal, the bhramaanubavam is just not enough, u need to pray and do kainkaryam to fellow bhaagavathas, muni and yogis (veḷḷattu aravil tuyil amarnda vittinai | uḷḷatu koṇḍu munivargaḷum yogihaḷum |). But since you are connected to Paramathma in a bhramanubavam, wake up slowly so that Paramathma does not get disturbed. Chant the name of Sriman Narayana collectively which will enlighten your soul.
The importance of Bhaagavatha seshathvam is described in this paasuram.
